I had a wonderful weekend in Houston, a friend got married and it was hard for me to stay on points for my dinners. I was able to stay on points for my lunches and breakfasts but I did keep a list of the food I had for dinner. The day of the wedding I was able to walk for 2.5 miles so that helped work off the food I had the night before at the resheal dinner. The wedding was beautiful and seeing old friends again was good. I am back home and back to working out and eating the foods that I need to lose weight. Before I left for Houston I weighed and had lost 3 pounds. I look at every pound as a victory and every lap I can do at the gym progress. Today I worked out on the tread mill, weights and eliptical. (not sure that is how you spell it) Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers that I can continue.

Well this is day 5, I need to get in the habit of posting messages on a daily basis. I have really stayed on my diet. I don't want to call it a diet I want to call it a way of life because if I don't I will go back to the way I was. I can have 25 points a day. I am finding it hard to eat all the points. I am being creative with food. I am accually going to the gym. Monday I went and did an arobics class with a friend for 45 minutes. Tuesday I went to the Boys and Girls club and walked 1/2 mile and worked out on all the machines. I do not know all the names of the machines yet. I did something that looked liked a bicycle and then a tread mill. Well I am just beginning I am going to join the BGC tomorrow that is more to my liking. Keep me in your prayers.

Day One

This is the one thing in my life that has really been a challenge, my weight. I get started and seem to get lost on my way to my goal. With God's help he will help me to stay on the path to find my "WEIGH'.
